I was very excited about this Mommy and Me session, as Kara and I have known each other since we were just a little older than Ella. So having her to the studio to photograph her with her own daughter was such an honor.
Although these two may be “big goofballs at heart”, as Kara puts it. They had an incredible time getting a little more serious for this shoot. Kara is a creative at heart, just like me. She is the owner of Needle and Knot, where she creates the most amazing fiber art I have ever seen. You need to check her out! She says her dream job would be a travel writer or photographer, and to combine her love of travel, culture, creativity and storytelling. That does sound like an amazing adventure!
Mommy and Me Images
Seriously though, how beautiful are these two? And now Ella will have stunning images with her Mom to share forever. I asked Kara what she felt when she saw the images for the first time. Besides her initial reaction “OMG, my girl! These are priceless”, she said she was drawn to the feeling in each of the images. She also says, this session was different for them, they have had lifestyle sessions done in the past and seeing them in a different light was really special.
Her advice for anyone thinking about coming in to the studio for their own session is…
“Just go for it! You won’t be disappointed with the quality or vision. Jenessa is easy going and fun to work with!”Kara Dulin
