Glamour Photography is back and better than ever!

This is not your average photo shoot!

Do you remember in the 80’s and 90’s, the photography rage was glamour, a soft white glow with a high school yearbook pose and most of the images were exactly the same just a different person. The specific images I remember were taken at a chain franchise that was more about the volume of people they ushered in and out than a connection with anyone of them. Which is fine if that’s what you want, but I am going to assume that that is part of the reason they are no longer around.

Fast forward to today. I have started to create with my clients (not just for my clients but WITH them), an amazing experience of glamour and contemporary portraiture that is focused on them, their thoughts and desires, our connection and their experience with me.

One of the first questions I ask is “How do you want to be photographed?” and the most popular answer is “I just want a good picture of myself”.

Here is what those 8 words actually mean:

I want to be seen

I want to feel beautiful

I want to have a beautiful image of myself

I want to feel confident

Women of all ages want all of these things and more. They want to be pampered, feel special, feel empowered and to awaken the goddess that lives inside all of us!

To be able to give that to them is such an amazing blessing. To be able to give that to them and have them share it with their mother, daughter, family, best friends or partner is an honor.
