Fun family portrait session on the North Shore
Lisa and I met after a charity event where she excitedly bid on a portrait session with the intention of having her daughter Ava’s portraits done. During our conversation Lisa told me her family had never had professional family portraits done! So on a beautiful October evening at Long Hill in Beverly, MA we changed that.
Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest family photographer in the world! My families are always so amazing and the Middleton’s kept right along with that tradition!
Now it was Ava’s turn to shine (Although I think she is a star all the time!) She is on a competitive dance team that she puts her heart and soul into and was excited to show me her moves!
What an amazing young lady! While she is totally focused when she dances her mom says that was one of her favorite things about this session was “watching Ava’s silly spirit while she was working with Jenessa, especially with the reindeer ears!”
and on top of being talented and funny she is beautiful with an amazing spirit! The gorgeous rose clip in the picture below is in memory of their dear Aunt Rose and Lisa made sure to choose an image with it in Ava’s hair to send to their uncle.
The Middleton’s are not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. Lisa, Jay and Ava are lucky to have each other! The love in this family was a beautiful thing to watch and I feel blessed that I was able to witness it, let alone capture it.
Thank you to the Middleton’s for honoring me with their memories.
